The need of human organism of water is equal to its needs for nutritive substances. Its importance for the organism is crucial and various, as all vital processes are related to it. We all know that a grown-up person must drink not less than 2l water per day in order his/her body to be well hydrated and purified. For this reason, the quality of water we drink is of great significance – especially for little kids and elderly people.
The mineral water is taken out with a drill as the spring is in a deep underground area and the water passes through many Earth levels before it reaches the surface and during this process the water is enriched with its minerals. Therefore the deepest the source, the highest the mineral content.
Low-mineralised waters in Bulgaria are considers all waters with total mineralization between 500 and 1500 mg/l.
Mineral water should be alternated with non-mineral water because otherwise the organism will feel loaded with minerals. In our country many people alternate one brand of mineral water with another brand of mineral water which is not correct. Although with different content and quantity, all brands of mineral water have similar minerals and in fact the organism cannot “rest”. Therefore the mineral waters should be alternated with non-mineral – table or spring water.
Spring water – natural water which springs from surface water sources, pollution protected. It is with lower mineralization and is recommended for everyday use even for children and elderly people.
Table water – industrially processed water. It can be sourced from every kind of water source, including it can be desalted seawater.
