For the first time in its 20-years history, the World Wine Contest (Concours Mondial de Bruxelles) will partner with a Bulgarian water brand – DEVIN. Within the partnership, the company will provide DEVIN Mineral water and DEVIN Air sparking water for the competition. Concours Mondial de Bruxelles will be held between April 29 and May 1, 2016 in Plovdiv.

DEVIN was preferred as a partner of the prestigious wine contest because of its high-quality products and leadership positions on the Bulgarian market. The new sparking water DEVIN Air will be included in the tastings of red fruit wines, because it clears the receptors during consumption and prepares you for the next sip of wine. Its unique formula is developed with the assistance of leading Bulgarian chefs and sommeliers, in order to enrich the meal sensation. DEVIN Mineral water is suitable for consumption with lighter white wines because of its unique mineral content, natural origins and purity.

The program of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles includes tastings of wines which will be judged by an international jury with more than 320 tasters from around the world. They will give away Grand Golden Medal, golden and silver medals in five categories: red, white, rose, sparkling and sweet wine.

Concours Mondial de Bruxelles was created in 1994 by the Belgian Louis Avo and over the years has proven its reputation of world wine championship. To strengthen its international character, since 2006 the contest is held in different cities outside Brussels, among which Lisbon, Bordeaux, Valencia, Luxemburg, Bratislava, and this year in Plovdiv.
